Welcome Team 8-2 Students and Parents!

If you are reading this you must have received a letter in the mail welcoming you to Team 8-2. If you happen to know anyone else on the team who did not receive a letter please let me know! This blog is the “Front Porch” of social studies class. It is the place that information can be freely shared back and forth, and questions or comments can be left to be answered, or to be discussed. Here you will find out what is going on on class each day, any special announcements, and random miscellaneous thoughts pertaining to you and our class this year. During the second week of school there will be a meeting for all of your parents on how we will be using blogs, wikis and podcasts this year. Shortly after that we will begin to utilize them in class. Until everyone has had the “how to use a blog” speech, any comment you leave will have to be approved by me before it appears so be patient if you leave a question or comment. Please no last names on the blog! One more time….please no last names on the blog!! Can’t wait to see everyone! You will be doing some awesome things this year. It will be the most amazing class you have ever experienced. I bet my favorite chicken on that fact ; )

PSS Ok…I know in the letter it said you would have your homeroom’s number on the letter…let’s just say there were a few complications getting the letters out (those of you who received the letters with the crease done the middle I apologize) and well…I decided to get them out sooner than later. If you really want to know email me (PBogush@wallingford.k12.ct.us) and I will send you your homeroom number. I am working at Sturbridge Village next week so I might decide to go to bed early instead of checking email but I will try my best to get back to you.
