Monday through Wednesday we will be putting together your Lewis and Clark sticky story presentations.

Thursday and Friday we will present.

Things you should ask yourself:
1-Have I completed the notes?
2-Have I completed the “pre-planning” questions?
3-Did I storyboard my presentation and plan it out thoroughly before just jumping in an throwing my facts into a story?
4-Did I take the time to use my imagination, be creative, be innovative, have a “point,” do something new I have never tried before, and think outside-my-box when preparing my sticky story?
5-Does the quality of my presentation reflect the amount of time I had to work on it and the number of people in my group?

Remember, after you present you will conference with me to tell me what your grade should be.

When you put up your blog post for this week you can select a time and day to present. So after you log in your post at the wiki, head over to here to select your time and day — top of the list goes Thursday, middle goes Friday, end goes Monday+

The answer to this question is to be posted on your blog by December 20 (next Thursday). Use your imagination. Be creative. Think outside-your-box.

Outside of parents, who has influenced your life more than anyone else; who had an impact on your life and what was it about that person that meant something to you? (No wimpy answers and remember da “rules.”)

Add your post this week to gcast. Read it for your podcast. Same directions as last time! Your audio can be listened to on the wiki. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE SITE AND EDIT THE TITLE if you do not want to.

[...] In addition to long-term projects, each week students post an entry to their own blogs to answer a thought-provoking question. For this particular question, students created a podcast of themselves responding to this question: http://pbogush.edublogs.org/2007/12/07/december-10-2007-monday/. [...]

I am a high school math teacher in Connecticut. I have been out of my classroom since October, due to illness. I am taking this “opportunity” to investigate distance education, facilitating math classes at two virtual high schools and taking a graduate-level education class in Building Online Collaborative Environments.

As part of this course, I am building my own blog, http://misteremath.wordpress.com/ and researching ways to build my virtual classroom and collaborative community.

I have been impressed with how your class lives much of its life on the Read/Write Web, as well as how your virtual community has expanded around the globe. If I may, I would like to become more familiar with your site and see how I can build upon your experience.
